Our Adults-Only Lodges at the Kohlbrennerhof are your personal retreat. Whether it’s a romantic getaway for two or a relaxing break with friends – our lodges offer the ideal setting for rest and reconnection.

 

Here you’ll find all the essential information for your stay:

RATES

 

  • Lodges Melisse & Lavendel with sauna – from €307 per night for 2 guests

  • Lodges Rosmarin & Thymian with sauna and whirlpool – from €359 per night for 2 guests

  • Lodge Wacholder with sauna and whirlpool – from €409 per night for 2 guests & from €650 per night for 4 guests

ADULTS ONLY

Our lodges are designed exclusively for adults. We welcome guests aged 18 and over – for more peace, more relaxation, and more time together.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

 

  • Check-in: from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • Check-out: on departure day until 10:00 a.m.

​

DEPOSIT, PAYMENT & LOCAL TAX

Your booking is confirmed once we receive a deposit of 40 % of the total amount (exact sum will be sent by email).

In addition, a local tourist tax of €1.80 per person and night applies, payable on-site.

We accept cash, debit cards (Bancomat) and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard).

BREAKFAST & DINNER

On request and with advance booking, we serve breakfast directly in your lodge – at your preferred time between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m.

Breakfast includes regional and homemade products from our own farm – such as syrups, teas, cakes, bread, fruit spreads, and muesli.

Choose one of three options (price: €20 per person):

  1. Sweet breakfast

  2. Savoury breakfast

  3. Mixed breakfast (sweet & savoury)

 

In the evening, we’re happy to prepare a typical South Tyrolean “Marende” (light meal) or a three-course dinner – freshly cooked each day. Prices on request.

PETS

Out of consideration for guests with allergies, pets are not allowed. Thank you for your understanding.

 

OUR FARM LIFE

We’re not a traditional South Tyrolean farm with dairy cows or apple orchards – but two nature lovers who turned their passion into a way of life.

In our orchard, you’ll find cherries, apples, pears, nectarines and kiwis. We also grow almonds, hazelnuts, chestnuts, sea buckthorn, rowanberries, and various herbs. Eleven Shropshire sheep and one ram graze freely between the trees.

During your stay, you’re welcome to enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables from our garden.

 

If you’d like to learn more, join one of our guided farm tours – we’ll gladly show you around our orchard, animals, and daily life at the Kohlbrennerhof.

SUSTAINABILITY

We are energy self-sufficient: our electricity comes from solar panels, heating from an integrated heat pump, and hot water from our solar system.

​

PARKING & GARAGE

Each lodge includes a free garage parking space.

Electric car charging station available.

​

WIFI & SERVICE

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire Kohlbrennerhof – in all lodges and across the property.

 

Guests can also use our laundry service on request and for a small additional fee.

CANCELLATION

Unexpected events can happen – we recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

Cancellation policy:

 

  • More than 3 months before arrival: no charge

  • 3 months to 1 month before arrival: 40 % of total amount

  • 1 month to 1 week before arrival: 70 % of total amount

  • In case of early departure: 100 % of total amount will be charged

European Travel Insurance – your reliable partner for holidays and travel.

SÜDTIROL GUEST PASS

Upon arrival, you’ll receive the Südtirol Guest Pass free of charge. It allows unlimited use of all public transport throughout South Tyrol:

  • Regional trains (Brennero–Trento, Malles–San Candido)

  • City, intercity, and regional buses

  • Cable cars (Postal–Verano, Vilpiano–Meltina, Bolzano–Renon, Bolzano–Colle, Rio di Pusteria–Maranza)

  • Renon Tram and Mendola Funicular
